Danielle K. Johnston M.S., B.S. - Director of Business Development
Danielle Johnston is The Director of Business Development with S.E. Covington & Company, Inc. Danielle’s primary focus is structured around meeting her client’s commercial needs by actively engaging as their liaison. Through her healthcare background as a Nurse Practitioner who provides care to Pediatric Oncology patients and families; she has a clear understanding of client needs and expectations, which in turn builds lasting relationships. As Danielle has always displayed a passion for business development; she played an integral role in program development and implementation of several large hospital programs including the Rare Tumor Program, Onco-Fertility Program, Thyroid Tumor program, and Adolescent Young Adult Program at Texas Children’s Hospital and has transitioned her core skills set to Commercial Real Estate. Her structured drive along with an upbeat personality is what makes her a vital part of the S.E. Covington team.
Danielle graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and received a second bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Medical Branch in 2009.
As a Houston philanthropist she resides on several board of directors including: Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Man & Woman of the Year, Leading Ladies of Houston, Houston Youth Council, and Project Piruw. She has received several awards within the Houston community, including: Cadillac’s Top 12 Influencers of Houston and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year Campaign. She has had many media appearances and hosted various events throughout the city including: Great Day Houston philanthropy appearance, Host/emcee of several non-profit organizations, Texas Children’s Hospital Promise Campaign, and professional medical blogs. She is a national and local volunteer for the Sunshine Kids, Periwinkle, and Mutts Movement.
